My mother and I stopped here both going to Edmonton and on the way back. We just got coffees on the outbound trip but stopped in for food and coffee on the way back. We very much enjoyed the coffees and the food. My mum especially enjoyed the curry coconut dish that had been recommended by the lovely lady who took the coffee order I gave her on the outgoing trip, The recommendation was given as the coffee I ordered for my mum was with coconut milk, and I commented my mum loved coconut everything, so she recommended the coconut curry dish. I had a reuben that was very good. Not a classical reuben but still very tasty.

The lady at the till took my order both on the outgoing and return trip. She was very helpful and friendly. She had a lovely smile and disposition. The ambiance in the store is lovely. Very much to my mum's and my liking. Friendly and comfortable. I observed the lady serve about 6 customers before me on the outgoing trip and she was as lovely and friendly with them as she was with me. If you are traveling to or through Valemount I strongly recommend you visit the Gathering Tree.
