Nicosia's bread bakery on Burke Ave in the Bronx has been a neighborhood staple since the early 1925, known for its fresh Italian bread that stands out above the rest. The bakery starts baking early in the morning to supply supermarkets, delis, and bodegas with a variety of breads and rolls. While the shop itself is simple, the real draw is the exceptional quality and taste of their breads, keeping customers coming back for decades.

Amazing Italian Bread. We now live upstate and the one thing you cannot find is REAL Italian Bread. My husband had to go to the Bronx and was able to bring home the last loaf. What a treat!! Delicious!!!
