I had a fantastic girls' night out at Emmons Palace, enjoying a chill atmosphere with great drinks and delicious food. The attentive staff and inviting ambiance made for a memorable experience, and I was particularly impressed by the refreshing salad and flavorful mussels.

My girlfriend loves crepes, so when walking down Emmons Avenue last Saturday we spotted Dessert Place and decided to give it a try. We ordered Marilyn Crepe and Istanbul Crepe plus 2 glasses of Stella beer. one beer was delivered at once but for the second we had to wait at least 10 minutes - our nice waiter was so busy talking with other waiters that he totally forgot about us. Then our crepes arrived - what a great disappointment ! Crepes were tough; mine was stuffed with small pieces of incredibly hard, almost under-cooked chicken, my girlfriend's crepe was equally disappointing being stuffed with a small bit of cheese and jam and not even a trace of one fresh fruit like strawberry for decoration. Your "chef" really should take apprenticeship at IHOP (International House of Pancakes) to improve his/her skills.There is another thing; we noticed next day that 10% gratuity was added to our bill and we gave our waiter a generous tip which with gratuity exceeded 25% of our total $ 34.78. Best of luck on cheating more customers !
