I visited Yayo while in New York and enjoyed the ceviche, arroz con pollo, sweet plantains, and several classic dishes like mofongo and paella, all bursting with fresh, consistent flavors and served with attentive, friendly service. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and my family from Puerto Rico was amazed by the quality and quantity of the food, making it a memorable experience I hope to repeat soon.

During my visit to New York to see my grandfather, we dined at Yayo where I enjoyed the flavorful arrow con pollo and a side of sweet plantains. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant, making me wish I had more time to revisit. My grandfather, who does upholstery work for the restaurant, takes pride in his craft and often frequents the establishment for meals in appreciation.
