I went to have lunch at this coffee shop and it was a horrible experience. The service was poor. I waited for my order to be taken although there was no one else waiting. The hispanic man looked at me without even opening his mouth to ask. When I finally asked the lady to take my order because I was on lunch, that's when he intervened.I told him I would likr a bacon cheeseburger deluxe. After waiting a long while for my order, I noticed a steady stream of ethnic children trying to ener. They were coming from the school across the street. Another worker left from behind the counter and blocked them at the door. When this was taking place I asked the man for my lunch again, and he told me it was still coming. He was pretty occupied with the handful of children they were letting in so my order was no longer a factor. When I finally received my order it consisted of the hard ends of an Italian bread. It wasn't even the middle of the bread, the end that most people cut off and throw away. The burger was the size of a hockey puck.I asked the man what was this suppose to be and he told me he didn't have any more rolls. I believe that should have been the first thing out of his mouth when he initially took my order. He stated he would take fifty cents off the order as if he was doing me a favor. I make very good money but the point of the matter is that he actually made me wait for something he did not provide and wanted to charge me for it. Oh yeah, minus the fifty cents. I looked at him in disbelief as he grabbed the plate out of my hands and told I could take it or leave it. He then waved me off to get out of this so called coffee shop. He has no manners or etiquette. This is not how you deal with paying customers. They also allowed a school crossing guard to walk off the street and put a tall container behind the counter. She placed it in the silver trays where they put other food that they serve the public. The location was unkept going towards the bathroom area also. That should have been my first hint. That man needs to know courtesy will take you a long way. Hopefully this review will help him. I would not think of giving them a star, but it won't let me exit until I do so.
