The atmosphere is inviting, with friendly staff and a tempting variety of dishes, but the baked Mac and cheese is a letdown, tasting more like a childhood favorite than true soul food. While the honey chicken and mashed potatoes shine, the buffet's pay-by-weight system can lead to a lighter wallet, though the fresh desserts and array of meats make it a place I would return to, provided I steer clear of the Mac and cheese.
