The fried catfish, black-eyed peas, and collards brought me straight back to southern roots with their fresh, comforting flavors and generous portions, while the friendly and patient service made the experience even more enjoyable despite the midday heat. The turkey wings were tender and flavorful, the sides perfectly balanced, and every bite felt like a warm, soulful hug that left me eager to explore more of the menu and return soon.

The counter service had a welcoming vibe, and everything I tried was absolutely delicious, from the fried catfish to the collards and cornbread. I was particularly impressed by the generous portion sizes and the quality of the turkey wings, which were tender and flavorful, paired perfectly with rice and beans. Despite some minor issues with customer service, the overall experience was fantastic, and I can't wait to return and explore more of the menu, especially the fish!
