Just two blocks from my home lies an Indian restaurant I previously overlooked, thinking it was just another faded establishment in a sea of curry houses. My first venture inside revealed a buffet table that seemed to have seen better days, but the food completely flipped my initial impression on its head-massive portions of perfectly spiced dishes that would make anyone's taste buds dance! Now, I find myself hooked, relishing their butter chicken and garlic naan, all while being greeted like an old friend by the lovely owner who remembers my order every time I call.
