After dodging Schwabl's for a year due to tough roast beef and tiny portions, a quiet Saturday night and a craving for Hungarian goulash lured us back-and wow, were we blown away by the fall-apart tender meat and homey flavors that instantly earned a permanent spot in our dinner plans. Between the cozy old-school vibe, friendly service, and generous helpings of comfort food like beef on weck and German potato salad, this classic Buffalo joint has officially won our hearts (and stomachs) all over again.
