The staff is great, friendly and responsive. That said, management needs to make sure the deep fry oil is changed. My fish would have been good except for the burnt oily taste which I could almost feel clogging my digestion and aorta.

Love the fish and chips! Love that they wrap it in newspaper to go, very kitsch. And the size is huge! It was so good I didn't want to stop eating, but I had to because I was really really full.

As I was waiting for it to be cooked, because it's made fresh to order, I got to watch them prepare some subs and the subs look great too, better than anything you'll get from a subway or quiznos, plus here you can get some of their awesome hand cut fries too!

Also, the people there are really nice. Very friendly, not snotty college kids as you're likely to find at other places in the area.

Great food! Great service! The fish-n-chips are authentic. I have lived in the U.K. and grew to love the fish-n-chip shops. My British husband is so thankful to have found a favorite taste from home here in Vermont. I love that this is a local Mom & Pop Restaurant as I think it is important to support our fellow Vermonters. Absolutely love the Cor Blimey. The traditional English Mustard (very spicy) with the pickled onions is mouth watering. Affordable, local and delicious.

Good fish 'n chips, but they need to learn how to wrap it up to go. By the time my takeout got home, my fish was soggy. Much better to eat it there and drown the fries in some malt vinegar.

I wish they delivered.

Good food, good prices, great fires and really friendly staff. Check it out! They also sell fish and chips along with their extensive array of sandwich fare :)

Love this place. Most importantly are the people who really treat you like they value your business. Not something you see from the teenagers at Subways. The bread is baked in house and always fresh since they bag it and don't leave it in open air chests. The meat is thin sliced to order. The chicken is actual pulled chicken breat meat, not press-formed patties. They use a panini press for the hot sandwiches. Since they left the Blimpie's franchise Ron has been able to add creative new items to his menu like the Cor-Blimey and Cheeky Bugger. Both are delicious. I can't wait to try the handmade English fish & chips once the fryer install is complete. It cost a little more than a Subway, but the quality, flavor, and friendliness are worth it.
