It doesn’t get any better for food and great staff and fair prices in the ‘hood! Yay to Henry Street for doing it right.

Henry St deli is quite a place. If you've ever been there on a weekend between 11Am and 3PM, you've seen cat's pumping out food at an incredible rate on incredibly insufficient equipment. Many is the time i've seen a spoiled college kid gripe about the slow turn around time- but i say, if you want your egg cooked on the spot, come early in the morning or buy your own damn eggs. These guys have two frying pans. And Manny, the owner, is as good as it gets. he's picked his staff like a pro from the get go, and he's kept his prices fair through and through. I say, tip one back for the fellas and the (few) ladies who've kept that place cranking for the last few years. There's nothing like hearing some soul or some metal or some classic nineties rock just when you need it in the morning (but what's with the occasional crappy trance? let's cut the shenanigans). We need more places that have the heart that Henry St. has.
cheers, gentlemen.

A great little neighborhood store. The staff are friendly. My kids love getting ice cream there and the sandwiches are great on homemade rolls. Compared to other stores like this, it is clean and organized.

Best place to get a huge delicious sandwich at value. The owner is an a very kind, accommodating person, and the staff offer a welcoming atmosphere- it's definitely a college scene, but among the Burlington crowd it's a hidden jewel!

Huge subs, fresh ingredients, friendly atmosphere. Made to order breakfast sandwiches all day. Very affordable as well.

Great service and a excellent, huge, sandwich! It's like two meals and the horseradish mayo is rad.

The bottom line is the sandwiches are big, made with fresh and quality ingredients, and cheap.......

oh yea and the cigs and beer are cheaper then the liquor store

Yes the college kids can be annoying, but i guess thats just kinda the place it is (and how college kids can be), but they are also often friendly and a brighten my day......

Good sandwiches at reasonable prices, however the UVM male student staff has created an atmosphere that makes eating there like trying to get food at a frat party, from individuals whose understanding of hygiene is questionable. Too bad as there is a local residential community (including adults) that could be well served by this resource, but now I only eat there when pressed for time instead of by choice.

Great food! However, there are many hipsters that work there! If you can ignore their rants and raves of whats right and wrong then you'll be fine. They can be rude on the phone and with ordering!

younger staff can be very annoying

great sandwiches though

atmosphere is actually good, but since some granola eating hippy wrote heady doughnuts atmosphere rating fell by 6. But in general great food

This place used to be terrible, but ever since Manny bought it, it has been the hidden jewel of Burlington. If only there where open past 10pm.

Amazing sandwiches at a unbeatable price. Fresh local bread and heady donuts delivered daily. Good selection of meats for BBQing and cheap beer. Manny the owner is the man, and the staff is all friendly and nice.

very firendly and personal, sandwiches are on fresh local bread which really makes the difference, all sandwiches are priced generously, especially the breakfast sandwiches available all day
