I discovered an incredible Vietnamese restaurant in southeast Calgary that serves the best pho I've had in the city. The satay chicken soup was delicious, and the fresh ingredients and perfect spice made it even better, along with the friendly and fast service. I've been going there at least once a week for almost three years, and every meal has been consistently great, from the vermicelli bowls to the spring rolls.

It was our first time there, needless to say, the LAST TIME for us. I ordered #60 Fresh Spring Rolls. My boyfriend ordered #50 Pork Chop. Pork Chop had to have been the SMALLEST, SADDEST looking piece of pork we ever had at a Vietnamese restaurant with the dish being 80% carbs - white rice, 2 fried eggs on top. That wasn't the worst part, When my rolls came, we both took a bite and I had to spit it out, the veggies were soft and soggy, it WREAKED OF STALE OLD FRIDGE. I apologized to the waitress, and asked when the food was made, she answered right away that it was made the same day. Then I told her it tasted old, and asked if i could switch it to Fried spring rolls instead. She walked away and came back with fried rolls and billed us for both orders of rolls. I told her that she agreed to switch the order and we will not be paying for something that we took one bite and had to spit out. It ended with the owner arguing with us and yelling at us for criticizing her food and lying about the bad taste because all the food was prepped fresh, horrified with other guests watching, we paid and left quickly. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, WORST UNSANITARY FOOD. HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE. AND all the guests were non-Asian, you know right away when you go to an Asian restaurant and there is not a single asian customer that the food is not on par.
