The food at Mel's is consistently very good, featuring classic 1950's diner ambiance with booths, table-mounted jukeboxes, and memorabilia, complemented by friendly, professional, and fast service-especially from servers like Kassandra-and generous portions of delicious dishes like the Wolfman Jack meal, California omelet, hot turkey sandwich with homemade mashed potatoes, and tasty shakes, all enjoyed in a clean, nostalgic, and welcoming environment that keeps me coming back whenever I'm in town.
