I've stopped here twice while passing through Owens Valley and was impressed by their freshly made bread, delicious breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and outstanding sweets, especially the rich coconut macaroons with dates and walnuts. The coffee is strong and flavorful, the staff friendly and welcoming, and the variety of baked goods-from donuts to quiches-is perfect for fueling up before a hike or road trip.

I've been to this bakery twice while driving through the Owens Valley. It's a cozy spot with delicious homemade bread, sandwiches, and sweets. The BLT sandwiches on their own bread were a hit, but the real stars were the brownies and coconut macaroons. The staff is friendly, the coffee is good, and the pastries are a must-try if you're in the area.
