I live in the high desert of Oregon, with its elevation pushing nearly 3000 ft and desert-like climate, having moved here from Portland for retirement. Recently, I ordered pecan sticky buns from Galaxy through Williams Sonoma, as bakeries offering such quality are scarce in this area. The buns arrived frozen, as they should be, and after baking, the result was a magnificent treat with rich dough and plenty of chopped pecans on top.
