The tasting room had a more upscale ambiance than I had anticipated for the area, but Susan, our tasting host, made the experience truly exceptional with her extensive knowledge about the wines and the region. My favorites from the tasting were the "Z" and the Tannat, with the "Z" making its way into our purchase. The free tastings and the option to sit down at a table rather than stand added to the overall enjoyment, and the little cheese trays provided a nice touch to complement the wines.
