11/13/2021 - I. M. Disappointed
Samurai Sushi 2 used to be a desirable Sushi restaurant, my last two visits have been less than satisfying. The sushi was made from noticeably not so fresh fish and not so good parts of the fish that should not be used for sushi. If you've never had good sushi before it maybe passable to you. I'll be dining elsewhere from now on.

This place is bloody good! Everything is so amazing & the servers are so polite. I agree- Chrissy is a muppet - she must be talking about the grocery store sushi she bought. Girl bye!

Best sushi in Hesperia. Crissy is a liar. Been going there for years. The sushi rolls and tempura are bomb.

All this hate on a review. It’s a great sushi restaurant. And great people of all walks of life frequent here. I look forward to many more years of enjoying a great restaurant.

Got takeout- choose this place from other good reviews. The servers were very serviceable. But really diappointed in our order. The spicy edamame had many m any empty pods & garlic butter would be a better option no t chili The salmon teriaki entre was overcooked & dry. The shrimp tempura a classic item was a deep fried batter like frozen fish sticks from the market- they need redo this item maybe done with panko or a quality tempura batter so its light & airy.
All the sauces are sweet- a real no no especially for tempura dipping sauce. Sorry samurais but your patrons must be immune to quality Japanese cuisine especially at the prices charged.
