I had a great conversation with the owner who clearly takes pride in serving fresh, well-crafted burritos made to his own high standards, especially with his unforgettable green tomatillo salsa that's mild, smoky, and bursting with flavor. Growing up in SoCal near the border, I'm picky about my Mexican food, but the breakfast and lunchtime burritos here, along with the friendly service and clean environment, truly impressed me enough to return during my short stay in Tahoe.
