This place is my BEST discovery in the past 20 years. I grew up East of New Orleans on the Gulf of Mexico eating this cuisine. The Workshop prepares these Cajun/Creole dishes with Authenticity and perfection to the extent I would put them side-by-side with the best seafood restaurants on the Gulf Coast. I have had the oyster Poboy, shrimp Po boy, jambalaya, and grilled veges on my only two visits. I can’t wait to try the gumbo and beignets along with some Cafe Du Monde coffee. From the pictures they look authentic and absolutely perfect, the way I remember them back home. Not to mention the owners Danny his wife Naomi are very welcoming and hospitable. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try in Benicia, you will think you are in the best Poboy house in New Orleans.

Every item I have had has been excellent. Owners are very hospitable. This is a small jewel in Benicia and the Bay as a whole. Too bad it is only open for lunch because there are time I crave the Workshop's food for dinner! The soft shell crab Po Boy is exceptional when available.

Owners very niCe to customers ,food is fantastic ! I need to try something beside the Shrimp Po Boys !! Maybe oyster Po Boys !! All delish !!
