This salsa takes me back to a time when I could get a gallon for just $15 by knocking on the back door, a size that's now impossible to find, especially here in the Central Valley. The hot burrito with its excellent flavor, made from organic beans and rice, is incredible, and even my picky daughters can't stop raving about the mild version, which they love so much they wanted the recipe; the medium red lasts long, freezes well, and sometimes I enjoy it straight from the container.

I have a fondness for this salsa that dates back 25 years when I could purchase a gallon container for $15 from a local vendor. Unfortunately, I can no longer find that size available in the central valley, and I miss it dearly. My daughters, who have particular tastes, are enamored with Casa Lindra's mild salsa to the point of requesting the recipe.
