I had dinner here tonight and was taken aback by how rude our server (I am told she and her husband are the owners) was to my party. Though we were all pleasant and respectful customers, she was cold towards us and short with each of us when we politely asked perfectly appropriate questions, such as whether we could have lemon slices in our water and what kind of salad dressing they had. Since three out of four members of my party were people of color, I could not help but wonder whether her issues with us were racial.
