We rented a cabin in the area. Thought we would go to a local restaurant. We didn't expect alot, but more than what we got...We orderedpBBQ ribs and BBQ chicken. It came with a lettuce and chopped tomato salad, limited dressings available and a small bowl of cauiflower. Nothing on it. The ribs were good, the chicken, old, blk in middle. Waitress never came back to check on us, half way into meal, I got her attention and asked if we could get some bread.
Not happy, she returned with a old round roll, not heated, no butter, etc. You could have throw it and broke a window. We were charged extra for the bread. The person in the kitchen was nice, when I went there and asked for some foil for the ribs. Not good service, not much for $25.00. :(

the reason why I give it 5 stars is because its truely as good as it gets on Hwy 88 all the way to Lake Tahoe. Ive been going to DEER RIDGE all of my life ever since I can remember, took my grandparents my cousins, my girlfriends,brothers and sisters, and anybody else who came to the mountain with me.I've also got kicked out of there once for fighting, no seriously I did!! A long time ago though but I deserve to get kicked out you can't fight in establishments,right ?! OFCOURSE NOT!! anyway you will not be sorry, I love the people at Deer Ridge, they know who I am I used to live off of inspiration drive, "enjoy yourself everybody".

Driving home from Silver Lakke of of highway 88 we saw this Sign that said Deer Ridge Inn
Thursday Night Mexican Food! Drove Home fed our animals changed clothes and we sat down to A Wonderful Meal I Had Beef Tacos my husband had the Beef Enchlidas it was sooo yumy And the Staff
are very Friendly Great Strawberry Margaritas
Definently recomend this place! They Also Have Great American Food. P>S> Dont forget to get your cocca cola salt & peper shakers they make a great souvaniera. Thanks all Staff We had A Great Time. Charlie & Sabrina Johnson
