This restaurant has mediocre food, and the quality of the fish used for their sushi is questionable at best, obviously frozen for extended periods of time before use. I have also seen employees thaw shrimp to portion it, then refreeze it! Bad bad bad! The floors in the restrurant are sticky and every time i leave, I smell like I just dined in a fryer. I have seen the owners of this restaurant repramand their employees in an unprofessional manner in front of customers while the restaurant was open, a very uncomfortable experience for my entire party and once i even saw the owner speak to the hostess in a way that made her cry and leave the restaurant. This behavior was reinforced to me by overhearing Kaji employees complain about not getting paid and being treated rudely often.
There is much, much better sushi and service in cedar r apids and I will not support this business.
