The service was terrible and I am highly disappointed in the management. Last time I went I ordered the something that was out of stock, so they did the right thing and l let me order the enchiladas with carne asada. They were amazing! I was so excited to get them again. I ordered them and was told they would check if they could do that. The manager got in the phone and said they could do it but there would be a $5 UP CHARGE. I had stated that was ridiculous to change an extra $5 to change the meat from chicken tinga to carne asada. He said it was because the steak cost more than the chicken so the menu prices reflected the increased cost (while I agree it is totally reasonable to charge the extra cost to the customer when requested to make a substitution;) $5 almost an additional 50% of the meal is not at all reasonable. I then pointed out to management that the difference in cost of the chicken tinga tacos and carne asada tacos was only .50 more and chicken to carne asada was $1 more. The manager was rude and said well carne asada enchilada are not on the menu and I could take it or leave it for the extra $5 up charge. I decided I would try something else on the menu, I ordered the enchilada Sopes because I was starving and looking forward to having O’ya while I was in town. It was not enjoyable at all,!since it was mush by the time I got home to eat it. I was extremely disappointed in my dinner and my experience with management taking advantage of customers and being dishonest with customers. Since they originally said the up charge was because of the cost and when inquired further it was mostly a penalty for making a substitution. If management would have said there is more meat in the enchiladas then the tacos and it would be $1 or even $2 more we would h have understood but the way the situation went down was highly disappointed then the sopes were terrible so not sure I would go back.
