The manager visited our school for career day, which led me to try the food in Carrboro the following weekend-I especially enjoyed the chicken wings, even though my 4-year-old cousin joked they were armadillos. We recently had Armadillo cater a tailgate, and everything from the flavorful steak tacos to the hearty chili was amazing, with fast service and satisfying portions perfect for a casual meal. While the queso and chips stood out as favorites, the only downside was witnessing an unprofessional incident involving a staff member yelling, which took away from an otherwise great experience.
