Bob Evans South Charleston has really went down hill! This is how the phone call went.
Bob Evan's Worker for Carryout: Hello
Me: Waiting on them to actually answer the phone introducing themselves. She answered like it was her personal phone.
Me: I go on to ask,do they have any Pumpkin Pies.
Her: Yea sure. Yea we got them.
Me: You got them,or you have them? Are you sure. I was there the other night and y'all were out.
Her: We have them,yes.
I swear as a kid I used to go to Bob Evans every day it seemed like. My grandfather and I. It's definitely went down hill. One time I went in and waited to be seated 15 minute's later I was seated. Remind you, it was empty the servers were all at the front, lolly gagging and one was on her phone by the restrooms. I called corporate that day,especially because none of them were wearing their masks over their noses and they were all talking about their personal business making me wait 15 minute's, and they weren't social distancing at all. Nor wearing their face coverings properly. I was greeted by a server who didn't even have her nose covered. I walked out. Lol. Quickly. Had their General Manager call me, and come to find out I knew him. The next time I went, my burger was pink!!! The manager,told me he was a new cook. She made it right, because my burger was raw. I gave them another try lastnight. The food was lousy but my server was awesome. I'll drive all the way to Cross Lanes from now on. They do have some great servers in South Charleston the other night my meal was 13.00 and I tipped the waitress 20.00 she was great. Food was lousy like I stated but she was great. No wonder my dad says the parking lot is always empty when he passes by. Lol. The bad Worker's definitely ruin it for me tbh. They just hire anyone.
