BEWARE!!!!! WISH I COULD GIVE - STARS!!
This is my first and my last time ever patronizing this business. First arriving, The hostess had an attitude because we told her that we did not want to sit outside. The waitress, "Elizabeth" jumped all over the table when taking orders. She skipped over people at the table, and walked away. I had to call her back so that I could place my drink order and I had to call her back so I could place my food order. I had to walk over to the bar to ask questions about drinks because of an allergy. We had to call her over to get refills on drinks. As people were eating she started just taking plates off the table and even tried to take plates from in front of people that were clearly still eating. The air conditioning unit above our table continuously dripped into my drink and plate. I mentioned it to her and we asked if we could move to another table. She said she has to ask the hostess. She left and never came back. When other worker came by we mentioned it to them and they just pushed the table over. Still my drink wasn't replaced. We had to call over a manager to replace the drink. Now, instead of the table, plate and drink getting the AC juice, I'm getting dripped on. One of the girls in our group NEVER got her food and we had to again call the waitress over to adress it and she only said, "oh, the kitchen mixed the orders up". She then returned with checks. She was questioned about compensation for the young lady that never got her food and only the "automatic gratuity" was removed as a "curtisy". The food was then sent back and the "automatic gratuity " was added back to her one drink charge. I was never offered a compensation for the absolutely disgusting experience I had. I authorized ONLY my total charges and
Not the "gratuity" for lack thereof, however when checking my account, they charged me the gratuity anyways. I reached out the restaurant to correct it and got an Asst manager, "Jeffery" I explained to him that I can not be forced to tip someone, that it's a choice. I explained the experience and all events that took place. He ask me what my ticket number was and placed me on hold. Then a Store manager, "Jason" came on the line. He advised that other businesses are having the same AC unit issues because this time of year it hot and there's nothing he could do. He then goes into saying that any party if 5 or more will have to pay gratuity and he gets this all the time. I advised him, That I am aware of the temperature; however that does not make it okay for me to have to sit at a table and have the AC Unit dripping in my plate, in my drink, or on my body. This is unhealthy, unsanitary and that it is just DISGUSTING!! He again said there is nothing he could do about that, but ask me my name so that he could write it down for when I decide to come back....I immediately, cut him off explaining that, "I WOULD NEVER VISIT, NOR PATRONIZE HIS BUSINESS EVER AGAIN!" His response was, oh, your never coming back and he's sorry that was my 1st experience there. Still the gratuity stands as it is, "their policy for parties of 5 or more and the law."
I ask him if he would be ok with going to out to eat and having the AC unit drip in his plate, drink and on him and his response is only that he understands.
- I will now take further actions as it is now about the principle and and my health.
