I was a customer in your Mt. Pleasant location on 17 Bypass today at 1:53. When I pulled into the lot the drive-thru was backed up with 8 cars so I parked and went into the store. I only wanted to buy one sandwich, a Whopper Jr. I have been to this location numerous times in the past few years and keep telling myself that I will not return. The service is always lacking and the employee attitudes are terrible. However I love the product. They are inconsistent but for the most part acceptable.
Today there was no one in line in front of me and only two other customers in the dining room. There was some type of argument going on with the employees. No one was handling the drive thru customers. Numerous employees, I counted four, were arguing using very bad language towards each other. The place was a total wreck. Trash cans overflowing both in the dining room as well as behind the counter. There were boxes stacked on the counter where apparently they started to restock after the lunch rush but no one was doing so. I was waited on fairly quickly but the employee never spoke to me. She walked up and just looked at me and waited for me to order. I received my sandwich and left, employees still cussing and arguing with each other. I opened my sandwich as I drove down the street and the sandwich had obviously been made a long time ago. The bun was hard on the bottom, all the ingredients were soggy and melted together. It was a terrible product. That visit confirms what I keep telling myself, I will never return. I have 25 years experience in fast food which I have retired from so I might be a little more critical than the average customer but today was the worst visit I have had at any fast food restaurant in years. I now own a construction company with 25 employees that work the Mt. Pleasant area daily. They have all told me on several occasions that they do not go to that unit and will not go back because of the same problems. You really need to look at your management in this unit. The location is great, the right management would really increase the sales and profits for you.
