This charming diner offers delicious breakfast and comforting southern dishes served in a friendly, country atmosphere. Although the food may take a little longer to arrive due to the small staff, it's definitely worth the wait, leaving you satisfied and eager to return.

Well we are new to SC and saw that Evelyn's had such a high rating... apparently they "saw us coming"... and now they saw us leaving for the last time. I ordered the fried catfish dinner which was marked $15.99 on the menu.. apparently their prices have changed but they haven't updated the menu because they charged me $23.99 for the catfish dinner! I believe that is called fraud and a very good reason to avoid this place... like we will.

Best roast beef, mash potatoes and gravy. The sides are good too.
