My Mom, brother, his 2 children and my fiance ate at Joseph's yesterday for brunch (Sunday), they serve only the breakfast menu on Sundays. We did wait for a while outside for a table to become available....but the wait was worth it! The menu is excellent and there is plenty to choose from for everyone. Our waitress was wonderful, very funny and fast, spoke with a British accent although we did not catch her name. She did have the giant chocolate chip panckes split for the 2 boys at no extra charge and without asking, that was very nice. She brought them extra whipped cream when they asked for more. My Mom had a delicious spinach and mushroom omlet and I had the sweet potato panckes, which our waitress told us were the signature dish, and that Rachael Ray had showcased them on her $40 a Day show! My brother had a great "Eggs Sardeu" which had spinch and artichokes with poached eggs and hollandaise. All in all, a very good experience! I can see how much HARD WORK goes into making a small fast-paced restaurant like this a success. Bravo Joseph's!

We had one of the best breakfasts we have ever had at this small, quaint family-owned restaurant. Clearly popular with the locals, so that was a good selling point for us! Very good service and our waitress from New Zealand was very cheerful and professional. Would definitely visit Joseph's again! My wife loved the sweet potato pancakes and I enjoyed the crab and ricotta cheese omlet.

I ate there yesterday as the hotel we stayed recommended it. I looked on line prior and found no real recent comments except summer or 2007 and 2008 replys ... all of which I thought were great but most people ...like myself either want to praise them or give negative feedback.
all I can say is I am glad I went, like myself (a prior restaurant owner) is hard work !! YOU CAN NEVER please everyone and I would like to say the food was great... the TIME was excellent since the place was on a wait! thank you Josephs and thanks the the blonde that served us we laughed and had a great time that ended in Charelston!!! We will be back and I they have the best sweet potato pancakes!
