CustomShop offers a creative, seasonally driven menu with standout dishes like the burrata appetizer and roasted duck that perfectly balance flavors and textures. The atmosphere is intimate and relaxed, making it ideal for catching up with friends or enjoying a date night, while the attentive yet unobtrusive service enhances the experience. Having visited multiple times, I appreciate the consistent quality, thoughtful allergy accommodations, and unique dishes that set it apart from more commercialized options in Charlotte.

04/16/2009 - a complete disaster
I had dinner at Customshop and will never ever return!!! After receiving my entree I found it to not be to my liking at all, it simply was not executed as described on the menu, it was entirely over cooked. Upon asking to have something else instead, the server came back and said the chef/owner said "no". A manager never came to the table, I never saw a manager that night. The item that I didn't even eat wasn't even taken off the bill. I couldn't believe the chef said no but when I asked to speak with anyone in charge, he never came out. I felt badly for the server as she had no one to come to the table to handle an upset customer, and no authority to correct the problem herself. This place obviously has no interest in customer service whatsoever and I highly recommend that no one ever waste their money to support such a jerk.
