Growing up in North Carolina, finding good Chinese food has always been a challenge, especially coming from New Jersey where flavors run deep and authentic. Whenever I visit Charlotte, I crave the hot and sour soup and perfectly cooked General Tso's chicken from Orient Express, where the friendly staff and hearty, flavorful dishes never fail to satisfy despite the bustling dining room.

I recently discovered a Chinese restaurant in NC that has impressed me with its flavorful dishes. While the fried rice may not be my absolute favorite, the veggie egg foo young was surprisingly good. My husband, who is usually picky about Chinese food, loved the sweet and sour chicken. Overall, I recommend trying their hot and sour soup and the general Tso chicken for a satisfying meal experience.
