There's a fantastic Chinese restaurant run by a local family near Uptown, perfect for a quick, delicious meal. For a taste of authenticity, I recommend trying the Sichuan Dandan noodles - the owner, hailing from Chengdu, always serves up the best traditional dishes at lunch. My friend opted for stir-fried long beans with black bean sauce and short rib noodles, both classic Sichuan choices, while I savored the tastiest Sesame chicken and bourbon chicken I've had in the United States. It's so convenient to have this gem of a spot serving up top-quality Chinese cuisine in Uptown.
