My wife and I ordered sushi from a restaurant we've frequented before, and despite the negative reviews, the food was excellent as always, the service was good, and although the place has a casual vibe and some customer service issues, we consistently enjoy the quality sushi and friendly bartenders, especially Mark.

We've gone to 18 Asian many times and had a good experience. Tonight we took family from out of town for the first time and had the absolutely worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. The waiter was never seen, the order was completely messed up and the sushi (my wife is Japanese) was chewy. To top it all off, we ordered sushi to go for my son who was home sick and it took 50 minutes before it arrived, well it didn't arrive, it was just sitting there at the bar, it wasn't until we asked that some one (not our waiter) did anything about it. I asked for the manager and complained and all he could say was "yes sir" didn't apologize, didn't do anything or offer anything to make it up. It was like no one gave a crap about anything. Not just tonight, but the service has been very poor every time we go. No More!!
