Went to dinner on this past Friday night about 7pm. The service was terrible. We were never ask if our food was okay or if anyone could get us anything. My pasta and bread was cold. I finally went to the counter and ask for some hot bread, at which time the girl said "maybe it sit there too long". I don't think we will be back. Make some changes- it used to be great!

The commentor before me is clearly somone who trolls for drama. I have enjoyed Anzis once a week for years. I love the pizza, the pasta and the service. The restaraunt has recently come under new management but the service has honestly not changed alot and the pizza is just as good if ot a little better ( I havn't tried the pasta yet). The previous management were true italian new yorkers with the attitude to match, but they were the most caring and Christian people I've had the pleasure of knowing. I am sorry to see people in the comments have had a poor experienc but I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience here ever. Delicious food, Great Service, Community Staple.

What has happened to good customer service??!!??
My family has placed orders by phone from here and eaten in the restaurant many, many time. We have recommended it to numerous others. We have always received decent customer service enjoyed the food...until last nigh!
My husband placed our order by phone for pick up. I was beside of him and heard him place the order (which was our usual). When my husband went in to pick the order up, it seemed like an unusual amount of boxes and bags. I checked these when he returned to the car, looked at the receipt that was quite a bit more than it should have been. After examining the order, we found that we had 2 extra orders of stuffed shells than we had ordered. I went back inside to bring this to the owners attention. I thought we might possibly have someone elses order.
The owner actually ARGUED with me about what we had ordered. He advised me that he had taken the order and he knew what we had ordered...he did not make mistakes. I advised him that he WAS mistaken and I just wanted the order to be corrected and the extra money that he had charged us returned. He continued to argue with me. Took the food into the back and then returned with it...still not correct. He did not refund the proper amount. I could not believe that he was treating me this way...the customer...in front of several other customers.
I left. The order still not right and still being overcharged. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE? I did not want anything for free. I wanted my order right. When I was in the food service industry, I would have given the customer all the food I had WRONGLY prepared, refunded their money, apologized and asked them to PLEASE come again.
We did not even enjoy our meal after all of this turmoil.
It is really a shame that this has happened. We enjoyed their food very much...but NEVER again!
