Recently moved back to the area and Baines is now conveniently close to me. I find the shop to be quite appealing with its good selection of books and local gifts. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is friendly, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a cup of cold brew or indulge in their delicious baked goods.

Interesting little store. Unfortunately the bakery offerings in the case are hard and stale. I have bought things twice and both were sub-par. They might have been delicious if they were fresh but unfortunately it appears the owner has tried to save money by keeping their offerings too long. Better to toss it, compost it, or give it to your dog rather than sell it.
