Ziggy's has been a favorite hangout for years. I have encouraged many people to go check out the hole in the wall bar and enjoy the atmosphere which is usually filled with enjoyable people from many walks of life. However, this fun little bar has begun to leave a bad taste in my mouth. Within the past few months, attitudes have changed inside the bar. The bartenders are short, moody, or simply rude to most customers. You will get the beers you order, but they come with the bad attitude from the head bartender. You might get your food order hours later if they don't tell you they are not serving food (as they bring food out for other customers). It has become a place filled with unpleasant people running it and no one seems interested in correcting the issues. I, for one, will go elsewhere to have fun and spend the money that I work hard for where I am appreciated.

I have enjoyed Ziggy's for many years. Naomi was one of the best bartenders ever. Recently, some staffing changes have occurred that cause much to be desired. Not mentioning names, but one recently was charging performing musicians $6.00 per non-alcoholic drink (i.e. coke and sprite), slamming around chairs, and generally being very rude. The food is delicious (if the bartender puts the order in) and the pricing is very reasonable. The attitude and demeanor of the place has got bad. REALLY BAD.. I really like the karaoke they do on Friday and Saturday nights. As of Current, I will NOT return to Ziggy's unless there are some much needed staffing changes.
