I hate to post this, because I really like the folks that own this place and the wonderful smiling friendly workers. I always feel welcomed and at home when we eat here or take out.
Tonight's meal was edible but not really good. This is the second time in the past six months that the food does not taste good. Tonight we had the catfish, coleslaw, okra, baked beans, potato salad and fried pickles. The fried pickles and potato salad where good. The rest of the meal was bland tasting. The catfish has a fatty taste because the fish planks are too large I think. The fish was fried with fish breading for frying, but no seasoning on the fish itself. I just wanted to let our experience be known this time. Better next time????

Food is always great and the staff is pleasant. You just can't beat a bbq baked potato for five bucks. I gave the atmosphere a 1 because there is no atmosphere. It's stricktly a to go place.
