Yep, this place is not good. We tried it twice. The first time the pizza was bland. We gave it a second shot and the second pizza was bland and burnt. Subs aren't much better.

03/19/2010 - Worker.
I worked at gurnee pizza for about 3-4 months. While being there i noticed a few things about the New owner, ted may. Up front he seems like a nice guy, but as an employee he is terrible. I was fired for refusing to work the ONLY day off i get aweek. And now he is telling me that i am not able to receive my last pay check. Saying obsered things about why i was fired, and lies about why i cannot receive my paycheck. And telling me that i cannot get my pay check untill he is present. but now he is not even showing up to his buisness.
I am not the only person he has treated like this. He goes threw employee after employee after not getting what he wants.
While i was there for that 3 month period i say he went threw about... 3 counter girls, 2 cooks and 4 drivers.
^ In a three month period.
(each and everyone fired.)
He is too cheap with the food that he is giving out. If there is a mistake on his part he will not fix it for the buyer free.
He will do anything to keep a buck.

Gurnee pizza used to be this well liked place, but now with him as the owner it is not pleasent going into gurnee pizza.

11/03/2009 - Gurnee Pizza is the absolute worst in town !!
I'm not kidding. I've tried it a few times. The thin is bad and the pan is horrible. Basically it taste like a pre fab pizza. I doubt they make that dough fresh. Its dry bready and commercial out of the box tasting. Sauce equally as bad and out of the jar.
The sausage is these little cemetrical squares. Frozen out of the box. Aside from a bad pizza which I gave several chances. Its always low quality tasting.I tried over time and different styles of their pizza its all the same. Bad! The service is a perfect match. Bad!
Do yourself a favor and order somewhere else.
Just like the 1-star rating says "Terrible". The pizza is as bland and boring as the name "Gurnee Pizza".
