What the hell happened I have eaten at Kestone for years Your Site says you open till 10 but the second the manager leaves I believe HIs name is John Your Crabby -ss waitresses start Sending people away A couple months back I drove from Orland Park to be told at 8 oclock you were closing Its not the first time I have seen people turned away or rushed through their meals because you cant find staff who want to be there I wont be back Till you convince your staff to loose their attitude or loose their jobs Reading your revues I see Im not the only one who thinks that way Your restaurant Used to be Great But its broke and I hope Its not to late to fix it

Our experience supports the other review about very poor customer service. We are in the restaurant business and was visiting the Midlothian area from Texas. Being a born and raised Chicagoan who owns a Chicago food place in Texas, I wanted to have my family experience the diners that Chicago is famous for, and had a recommendation to go to Keystone from a friend who is a successful restaurateur in the Midlothian area. It was my wife's birthday, and I wanted to make the dinner special. We arrived a bit past 8, and after going thru the menu we ordered for the three of us. My wife had wanted seafood for here birthday dinner and ordered the Tilapia. So many minutes later th waitress came to us and said that they were going to close early because they had a long day, and in doing so had to stop taking orders for tilapia at 8:30. I looked at the time and it was 8:22, which I pointed out. The waitress said it was 8:30, and they stopped cooking tilapia at 8:30 because it took to long to cook. I asked to see the person who told her the decision, and I emphasized how it was my wife's birthday, that the waitress told me that they stopped cooking tilapia at 8:30 and that they could not cook my wife's birthday dinner. I nicely asked if she could anyway, it had not been 8:30 yet, the time posted of them closing was 10 PM, and could she please do it. She rudely said no. I then asked her if that also meant we would be rushed out since they decided to close early, the facial expressions and comments seemed to indicate that would be the case. Not wanting to rush and ruin my wife's birthday dinner, we opted to leave. This is poor business. It does not matter if a business has a long day, it is not the customers fault that they were busy, or disorganized. A business sets it's hours, and patrons come to the business during these posted hours in good faith that they honor their hours they decided to be open. If those working have "long days", the owners need to hire more persons to handle the business so as to not to become a "sweat shop" for those working. When a business set their hours, patrons count on them honoring those hours. It is terrible that they have a disregard for those who trust that Keystone had good business ethics. It is not right that a family comes to their establishment for a special occasion in good faith, recommended by another patron, and Keystone does not stick to their posted hours of service. Food may be great (we did not try), but the violation of faith that they had the integrity to honor their hours is a terrible business practice, it shows they have no integrity and concern for their patrons. They obviously are rude people and do not care for their customers, and any claim here about poor customer service, from my experience and observations, are valid. If any of my restaurant employees or managers did the same at our food business, they would be looking for employment elsewhere. They put a very bad taste in out mouth on a special day for my wife, and we did not eat any of their foods. Negative stars to this one!
