We have been eating Lee's since the early 60's!! Food is fantastic!! Shrimp are dynamite, chicken wonderful & lake perch, better than a well know restaurant at the crossroads in Schererville, Indiana!! Cole slaw is devine!! What else can I say??? Oh yes....so glad he finally moved to northwest Indiana!!!

Started with Lee's on the Eastside when I was a kid,had fish, shrimp ,fries, and the best cole slaw.Eating with my family and grand kids I had flash back memories this past Good Friday 4-3-15.the food hasn't changed,it's delicious.

The food was delicious as a kid. My parents would bring home for us to eat. My mom and I were saying it had the only coleslaw that we didn't get gas or indigestion from. The coleslaw I remember was creamy with black pepper, and I think celery seed, with mayo. We were hoping someone out there had the recipe for the coleslaw. We both live out of state now. I wonder if Chinese 5 Spice was in the coleslaw now. The power Rch, frog legs, and chicken were good too.
Thanks for the nmemores from myself in 60's and mom in 80's.

Have been going to Lee's for years. Cole Slaw is awesome and so is chicken - but there is no better PERCH around. we travel over 20 miles to go get it and I really don't like fish, but this perch is amazing!!!!!!

Lees has the best chicken and coleslaw ever!
I'd love to know how to make his coleslaw. I love this food.

Lee's is awesome! I grew up in the area and we'd have Lee's all the time. But then I moved here to Noblesville and crave Lee's all the time....especially the COLESLAW! I would LOVE to know how they make it if anyone has any ideas! Definitely a place I'd go back to during visits back home.

I lived around the corner when i was a kid, some 40 years ago. I can remember as a young teen how good it was. To this day, nothing has changed,
the food is just as excellent, my vote is for the shrimp.

Great lake perch, great frog legs and love the cole slaw. Haven't had the chicken foe a while but last-time I did it was very good.

This dumpy hole-in-the-wall in Calumet City depends upon its great food for its popularity and longevity. Years and years of outstanding fried chicken, lake perch and shrimp, plus the famous and world's best cole slaw keep long-time customers coming back again and again. Don't expect special service or congeniality from the staff, just great food.
