Petey's Maxwell Street is located right off the Dan Ryan, and I had often noticed the building during my trips to Hyde Park for college. One day, while driving with friends, we decided to stop there when we were feeling hungry. I tried the Italian Beef, which turned out to be the best I've ever had - I got it dipped and it was incredibly juicy. The lack of seating made it clear that it's a strictly takeout spot, but the food, like the cheese fries, was definitely worth the visit to this greasy dive.
