The food is average German fare. They offer an all-you-can-eat Roast Pork on the weekends but don't believe the all-you-can-eat offer. We found our requests for additional servings met with extreme hostility and paltry portions. They're okay with piling your plate with schpatzle but don't expect them to willingly give you much more meat. Members of our party who didn't order the pork special found their requests for take-home containers met with the same hostility. They add an 18% tip to bills of parties of 8 or more and assuming it's a given, the service they offer is nasty and minimal. Our server was so awful we told them at payment that we would be adding our own tip. Their response was to run our card through for what they wanted and to demand that we sign. When we refused we were subject to a very public, personal and nasty attack by the staff.

This place has long had a problem with servers who are more gruff than might be appreciated. They have now crossed the line to overt hostility toward their patrons.

Never trust a restaurant that doesn't offer free refills on sodas.
