Here is the experience I just had..
Order small sweet and sour chicken
small chicken egg foo young with the sauce on the side.
I went it to pick it up, brought it to my van and placed it next to me between my seat and the passenger side seat. It was a paper bag inside a plastic bag.
I got home, took the bag in, set in on the counter, and went to pull out the sweet and sour chicken, which was dry chicken (how it is supposed to be) in a big container, the kind you put rice in, and it was so full it wasn't even closed.
Which I thought alright, this is good, since I had never been there and didn't know how big a small sweet and sour chicken would be.
Then I went to pull out the sweet and sour sauce, a big plastic container, with a plastic snap lid, and see that it is broken on the top of it, where the chicken was sitting on it. And that it had leaked all over the bag! And it was still on top of the chicken egg foo young which was open also and soaked that, and everything else in the bag!!!
So I called and they said, no problem we will replace it.
So now I am upset I have no food to eat, I am starving, my family has to wait, I go back up there.
I go in, now this is a guy waiting at the desk.
I explain exactly as I did above.
He goes
"What, you drop it?"
I said, no I didn't drop it.
He said "you drop it"
So AGAIN I explain I sure didn't drop it.
So he started SCREAMING at me that this is not how they serve food, etc. banging the bag of food to the counter.
I said I wanted a refund.
I am a woman, and he didn't need to treat any woman or ANY customer like that! I hope all the customers inside saw the truth of this establishment.
The sauce was on top of two rices, cookies, etc. And it had the huge chicken on top of this container with a very thin plastic top.
IF it was dropped, then the stuff below would have been damaged, not that, and it wasn't, end of story.
I got my refund, no apologies, and I will never ever go near there again, and I will make sure all my family and friends know about this experience as well

I don't know why all the bad reviews, this is about the only place I go when I want Chinese....We really like the food.

Avoid the General Tao and Orange Chicken from Dragron Palace if you want to live a healthy live because they put half pound of sugar in those two dishes. I have a friend who had worked at this restaurant for years told this shocking truth. His advice to me is stay away from those two dishes if you can. He even told me that a lot of people got sick after eating the food from Dragon Palace in Tinley Park

Yesterday, i was there and ordered out food from dragon palace. the food was terrible. I really didn't want to write a bad review but i don't want to see another person to eat this sloop. I have been their customer for a couple years and no more I
will never order from this restaurant again.

Absolutely Terrible! I went there for the first time today and used a 2 for 1 coupon. I got one order of beef chopsuey. The meat was nothing but a few globs of grizzly fat! I can't describe the taste, but it wasn't good. Haven't tried the chicken, but now I'm afraid to. service was poor - bad attitudes all around. I'll never go there again.

When I order takeout from a neighborhood restaurant, the least I expect to get is on par service and edible food. I don't really expect to get superb service or excellent food qualities from this little street mall restaurant call Dragon Palace. What I ended up getting was unfriendly service and no taste food. When I walked into this restaurant, I was greeted by a waiter that was watching TV. He kind of gave me a look like I was bothering him while he was watching TV. His eyes were looking at the TV the whole time while I was ordering my food. After I waited for 15 minutes, I saw three customers that walked in after me had left with their orders already. I inquired to the person that took my order. It turned out that he had forgotten to send my order into the kitchen, and he didn't apology for his mistake. He just said it will be ready in 5 minutes and walked over to the bar to continue to watch TV. My past experience from Chen’s was a lot more pleasant than I got from Dragon Palace. I was greeted with a waiter with a friendly smile on his face, and he was paying attention to me the whole time while I was placing my order. I will just go to Chen's from now on if I want to order Chinese takeout. Dragon Palace, you can continue to watch TV, I will never bother you again.

I CALLED FOR OVER 12 MINUTES-BOTH NUMBERS..I WAS FINALLY GOING TO GIVE UP- THOUGHT I WOULD TRY I MORE TIME- THE GUY THAT ANSWERED WAS TALKING LIKE HE WAS IN A BIG HURRY... EITHER THEY WERE VERY BUSY OR JUST PLAIN LAZY... I PICK UP MY FOOD IN 20 MINUTES- BETTER BE GOOD.... THEY WERE BETTER YEARS AGO- WHAT IS HAPPENEING?? MAYBE THE YOUNGER PEOPLE TOOK OVER????

I have been a customer for many years.Iam highly disapointed in the quality as of late.Spring rolls are greasey the food has a tendency to be luke warm. The service is getting to be sloopy.I will be forced to find a asian resturant that has the quality that you use to have.
