• Fried Shrimp has been a staple on our menu since the beginning. Our goal has always been to prepare the best shrimp in the city and the results speak for themselves. Large, Gulf of Mexico White Shrimp coated in our homemade batter and tossed in fresh bread crumbs is a tradition that has been going strong since 1950. We recommend you take a bite and enjoy our cherished legacy.
• Original Fish Chips $9.50
• In the early 20th century when the fishing industry was booming in the Great Lakes. Fishermen would return from the rough waters of Lake Michigan to port and filet their daily catch to sell. The scraps of fish left behind were promptly doused in batter and fried in hot grease for the fishermen to enjoy. This tradition was the inspiration behind one of our original menu items, Fish Chips, chunks of lightly battered Icelandic Cod that we toss in breadcrumbs and deep fry on the spot. FRENCH FRIES ARE NOT INCLUDED neither are they necessary but we do recommend some Tartar or Cocktail sauce to go with it.

• Half pound of bite sized nuggets with a nice full flavor covered in our cajun seasoned batter, tossed in bread crumbs and fried crispy.

Craving seafood bliss, I dove into some fried shrimp and walleye that hit the spot-though I was wishing the walleye batter was a bit lighter, like those Midwest classics. The old-school vibe and friendly crew made eating in the car feel like a mini road trip back to the '70s, complete with tangy sides and that unforgettable crunch. With fresh fish, killer sauces, and even RC Cola on deck, this joint serves up nostalgia and flavor in equal, delicious measure.

I had a satisfying seafood meal at this local spot. The shrimp and walleye were tasty, although I was hoping for a lighter batter on the walleye like you find in Wisconsin or Minnesota. This place is a must-visit in Chicago for delicious fried shrimp, scallops, clams, and perch - it never disappoints!
