U Dawg U was a beloved staple in my dining repertoire for over a decade, known for its exceptional fare and made-to-order grill offerings. However, since its closure, a new establishment, Dear Franks, has emerged in its wake, boasting a striking resemblance in both menu selections and service quality. Despite its slightly elevated price point for fast food, Dear Franks has quickly become my preferred destination for delectable sandwiches, with their signature cheesy fries featuring real melted cheddar as a noteworthy standout.
