This was the best family restaurant in Chicago the Rib Tips and omg the footlong how they wrapped them up with your fries and sauce

Omg this was the best bbq in the city. The wings with mild sauce, the ribs, the tips no place better. What I remember most and what I crave from there is a footlong polish. Late night after leaving the 69 club(latter became the copperbox) A footlong and a small tip was the order to end the night!

Was the best barbecue hands down......if they ever reopened? All other restaurants would be beneath them. Everything was good......I miss those days!!

The best BBQ in Chicago, stayed open late and had the real deal sauce and footling polishes. No one has a better product then this family. What I would do to have them back in business. When the mother past they still was doing it well, however the foundation she laid got cracked. Nothing was like them. I would sneak out the house just to get food from them.

G & B was the best barbeque in Chicago. It beat out Leon's, Lim's, Curt's, I-57, and Carson's. Unfortunately, the owners died and legacy was lost.
