During my time at Loyola, before the food truck craze and French Market popularity, I frequented Sweet Miss Giving's in the school's food court. I never sought out greasy slices of pizza or bland cheeseburgers; my heart was set on a refreshing bottle of water and a massive, fudgy brownie from Sweet Miss Giving's. What sets this bakery apart is not just the delectable treats, but also their impactful mission supporting homeless individuals and HIV/AIDS education - a perfect blend of sweetness and philanthropy.
