On a lively Sunday evening in downtown Wilmette, the aroma of wood-fired Neapolitan-style pizza filled the air as I settled at a high-top table with a glass of wine from their impressive selection. The Verdure Arrosto pizza offered a complex blend of brussels, cheeses, mushrooms, and truffle oil, though I preferred the Salsiccia Rosa for its bold sausage and chili-infused olive oil. Throughout the meal, attentive yet casual service complemented the vibrant atmosphere, making it a memorable way to close the weekend.
