Being a Chicago native and vegan, I always crave those classic Chicago-style hotdogs when I'm back in town, and this place definitely hits the spot with fresh ingredients and good vibes. I tried the Chicago hotdog with onion rings and a peppermint shake, and even though it was super busy, the service was quick and the food was solid-though the spicy sauce wasn't as spicy as I hoped. My friends loved the onion rings and spicy chicken sandwich, but I passed on the veggie dog, and the chocolate cake we shared was a bit dry.

I ordered Portillo's awesome food for a small birthday party. Everything was just as ordered.
The food was exceptional as usual. I thought with such an order that surely there would be
some mix up. Not so with Portillo's in Homewood. They are the best! Keep up the great
work and the Baker's will surely continue to support you.

Went thru drive thru today (sunday during lockdown), not super busy. Asked for a plain polish, fries and malts. Got a polish without bun or anything, no napkins, no straw.. Not pleased and will not be back for sure! Plenty of other options on this road, I'd advise choosing another one.
